At Village Dermatology of Houston, I coordinate surgical care as a Surgical Lead and Certified Medical Assistant, including assisting with Mohs surgery and excisions. I prepare procedure rooms and trays, support physicians during procedures, and provide wound care and follow-up documentation.
I also help keep clinic operations moving by coordinating procedure scheduling, referrals, supplies, and patient records. My work includes scribing in EMA, EPiC, and Practice Fusion, as well as handling billing and insurance-related documentation.
Earlier, at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Kelsey-Seybold Tanglewood Clinic, I supported dermatology and other clinical departments with patient procedures, room preparation, and specimen handling. I’m DermTech Certified and fluent in English and Spanish.
