I’m a Clinical Medical Assistant who helps patients feel informed and supported—from the moment they arrive through follow-up. My goal is to use my education and skills to make a positive impact with patients and my employer.

At Bliss Dermatology (October 2023 to Present), I support general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. I assist with patient care, record vital signs, scribe and document accurately in the EHR, and prepare patients for dermatological procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique and infection control.

Across roles such as Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery (January 2020 to Present) and Ocala Family Dermatology (July 2019 to October 2019), I’ve provided hands-on surgical support for mohs surgery, repairs, excisions, biopsies, and cryotherapy. I also prepare patients for cosmetic services like Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments, and I manage patient comfort, supplies, and aftercare.

I’m especially strong in end-to-end workflow and clinical communication: wound care (dressing changes and suture/staple removal), patient education with pre/post instructions, and coordinating appointments and referrals. I’ve also handled prior authorization (including VA authorization and private/commercial insurance), trained newly hired employees, and scheduled patients and surgical procedures with tools such as NextGen and multiple EMR platforms (including Epic, EMR, Citrix, and Athena).
