What I'm looking for

I seek opportunities in translation and localization where I can apply literary and subtitle skills, expand machine-translation post-editing experience, work in collaborative teams, and grow into project coordination roles.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Translation and English–Turkish Interpreting from Kirklareli University (2020–2025), where I combined theoretical study with practical projects.

My graduation project focused on literary translation, centering on Ken Liu’s short story “The Paper Menagerie,” and I developed technical content about the evolution and operational principles of machine translation systems for the student platform “Çeviri Birikim.”

I gained practical multilingual and intercultural communication experience working as a hostess at DIT Majestic Beach Resort (Bulgaria) in 2023, and I volunteer as a TED Translator (2025), translating and describing TED talks between English and Turkish.

I work with corpus-based translation methods, terminology management, pre-editing and post-editing, subtitle tools (Subtitle Edit), and basic project coordination; I am curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally in translation and localization roles.
