What I'm looking for

I seek roles combining sports journalism and performance science where I can create impactful content, coach athletes, teach, and contribute to programme development in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

I am a results-driven, deadline-oriented multimedia journalist and sports scientist with more than 10 years of experience in journalism, writing, editing and sports performance.

I have created original multimedia content, conducted interviews, produced news stories, match reports, analysis and features for major South African titles and digital outlets, and I was the first female specialist rugby writer for the Cape Times and Cape Argus.

As a sports scientist and coach I designed periodised training programmes, served as head strength and conditioning coach, tutored undergraduate students, and contributed to teams that achieved regional and international sevens success.

I am a self-starter with expert time-management, attention to detail and adaptability, recognised as a 2022 Momentum GSport Awards finalist (Woman-in-Print) and experienced in lecturing, programme assessment and anti-doping chaperoning.
