Wesley Clark

I’m an economics and statistics student passionate about using data-driven insights to support sound decision-making and policy development. I enjoy analytical environments where strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving make a measurable difference.

I’ve built hands-on capability across statistical software and data platforms, including Python and SQL for cleaning, modeling, and analysis. Through my attachment with the Finance department at Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC), I supported financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and accounts payable/receivable activities including reconciliations and aging analysis.

In my academic work, I investigated how exchange rate policy regimes affect Kenya’s manufacturing sector, using STATA/SPSS and macroeconomic and industry data to develop policy recommendations for mitigating currency risks. I also lead with responsibility, having served as a dormitory captain overseeing discipline, welfare, and communication for 80+ students.
