Wendy Bortey

I’m an aspiring Project Manager, focused on project coordination, team collaboration, and task prioritization. I completed a Project Management training program and a virtual internship, and I’m eager to apply that knowledge in a dynamic, delivery-driven environment.

In my Project Coordinator Intern role at Tech Launch Africa, I supported a cross-functional team delivering a website redesign within 6 weeks. I created weekly progress reports and updated stakeholders using Google Slides and Notion, while tracking tasks and deadlines in Trello to achieve 95% on-time task completion.

I also contributed to UX improvements by conducting user research surveys, helping drive a 20% improvement in UX processes across multiple projects. Recognized as best intern of the 2024 cohort, I was valued by peers as the most supportive and collaborative intern during sprint cycles.

Through Forage by Accenture’s virtual Project Manager experience, I practiced real-world responsibilities including stakeholder management, budgeting, and project planning. I developed a communication plan and risk register, then built a detailed project schedule and plan using Jira and Trello.
