What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a clinical role where I can support patients with compassionate front-line care, accurate EHR documentation, and reliable lab/phlebotomy work, while also using my training to educate communities and reduce fear through trauma-informed communication.

I’m a patient-centered clinical professional with experience across front-desk care, pediatric patient support, phlebotomy, and hospital laboratory workflows. I bring strong intake and coordination skills—supporting triage, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and front desk operations—while keeping visits calm, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate.

In my current roles, I support pediatric procedures (including phlebotomy, specimen collection, vaccine preparation, and patient education) and document care accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. I also serve as a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, delivering car seat guidance and injury-prevention counseling, and I promote early literacy through the Reach Out and Read program by encouraging family reading routines.

I also strengthen patient outcomes through lab accuracy and infection control. I’ve worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician and as CLIA Qualified Testing Personnel, handling specimen receipt and processing, microbiology workflow, contamination-prevention procedures, sterile technique, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation using laboratory information systems (including EPIC) to support timely, quality testing. Alongside clinical responsibilities, I’ve led overdose prevention training as an AmeriCorps trainer, delivering trauma-informed education on naloxone, harm reduction strategies, fentanyl test strips, and recovery resources to build community preparedness.
