Vijay Gonugade

I'm a graduate from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.

Recently, I worked as a Research and Content Lead at Global Vikas Trust, where my role involved researching topics, data analysis and creating content to support organisation's rural development initiatives.

At Technology and Development Solutions Cell, IIT Bombay, I held the position of Project Research Assistant, where I was responsible for evaluating programs such as the Thakkar Bappa Yojana, conducting field assessments, and preparing reports on water stress reduction and solar PV-based water supply systems for rural areas.

During my internship as a Science Consultant at Life-Lab, I worked to implement activity-based science learning in five government schools, supporting marginalized students in developing a scientific attitude. I also completed an internship in Solar PV Business Development at Startling Solar Pvt. Ltd., focusing on lead generation and email marketing for solar energy solutions.

In addition to these roles, I founded FledglingsBuzz, an online platform aimed at inspiring young entrepreneurs by sharing their stories. I have also volunteered at the Energy Lab at Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute, where I worked on research related to solar water purification systems and energy-efficient cooking technologies.
