What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build rigorous, high-performance systems for critical infrastructure, especially distributed databases, low-level software, and real-time computer vision.

At Oracle, I contribute to the MySQL NDB Cluster kernel, developing low-level features and critical bug fixes for a distributed in-memory database designed for 99.999% availability.

Before Oracle, I led defense and security computer vision initiatives at Gradiant for organizations including NATO and Boeing Research. I architected a 12-server, 30-thermal-camera rail security network, built UAS video-streaming components and Linux camera drivers, and led maritime object-detection deployment aboard the NATO research vessel Alliance.

I've also engineered counter-UAS protection, multi-object tracking, data association, PTZ camera control, REST APIs, and Qt interfaces for mission-critical systems.

My background combines mathematics, computer science, low-level optimization, distributed systems, and advanced image and video analysis. Earlier at EXVA, I developed video codecs and computer vision algorithms for surveillance and access-control systems.
