Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist.
What I'm looking for
I am a highly skilled and empathic Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist with over 7 years of experience in providing counseling, care, and education to diverse communities. My journey has been driven by a passion for supporting mental health and removing barriers to care. I am dedicated to empowering individuals through art therapy and collaborative problem-solving.
Throughout my career, I have worked in various clinical settings, including the St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center and Maniilaq Health Center, where I provided individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. My commitment to professional development is evident as I pursue training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and have completed a Level I Mindfulness Facilitator course through Brown University.
In addition to my clinical work, I have presented at numerous conferences, sharing insights on eating disorders and minority considerations. I believe in the transformative power of art and strive to create a safe space for individuals to express themselves and heal.
