What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead cloud-native microservices and API engineering, mentor teams, and deliver scalable systems using Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Azure—while collaborating across onshore/offshore stakeholders.

I’m a Solution Architect and full-stack engineer with 18+ years building client/server and web applications across banking, finance, healthcare, media, and online marketing. I focus on turning complex requirements into reliable systems through strong engineering practices and clear architecture.

In my current role at Cognizant for the CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield client, I led scalable API design for broker onboarding, quoting, and enrollment workflows. I also re-engineered legacy billing and enrollment into microservices using Spring Boot and Apache Kafka, leveraging Kubernetes and Azure SQL to ensure high availability and performance.

Earlier at Cognizant (U.S. Bank), I served as a Technical Lead and Java Lead Developer, driving SDLC from requirements to delivery while designing modern, cloud-ready APIs for OneKYC and building Kafka-based microservices. I’ve consistently led teams, reviewed code, mentored developers, and integrated modern AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate design and delivery.
