Vanessa Beavers

I lead the appraisal of complex public investment proposals at Jamaica's Ministry of Finance & the Public Service, producing financial, economic, environmental and social analyses for nationally significant projects.

I've prepared recommendations for the Technical Review Committee and Public Investment Management Committee, audited financial and economic models, and advised ministries and agencies on policy justification, climate resilience, options analysis and value for money. My work uses NPV, IRR, ERR and sensitivity analysis to strengthen business cases and support strategic investment decisions.

Earlier, I delivered proposal-development support across government and managed special projects, logistics, accounting and operations in the private sector. I bring postgraduate project-management training, Scrum practice, stakeholder coordination and a practical focus on improving processes and outcomes.
