Samuel Uzima
@uzimasam
I build reliable Laravel and Vue.js platforms for payments, investments, SaaS, and event commerce.
What I'm looking for
I've re-architected investment workflows for Africa's Pocket, rebuilding its Laravel backend, PostgreSQL data model, financial processing engine, and API layer around correctness, reconciliation, and production reliability.
At GetPayd Technologies, I progressed from Payd payment services to leading backend engineering for Vabu. I architected VabuOS, a multi-tenant Laravel platform serving 2,000+ accounts across ticketing, event commerce, streaming, and payments, and built payment orchestration across M-Pesa, Stripe, Yellow Card, PesaPal, and HoneyCoin.
I work end to end, from schema and API design through Vue interfaces, deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, and zero-downtime migrations. I also led product delivery for Easy House Africa while coordinating a small engineering team and collaborating with design and business stakeholders.
