I am Unoda Badla, a dedicated social worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Botswana. My academic journey has been complemented by practical experiences through internships and volunteer work, where I have developed a strong commitment to empowering individuals and communities. I believe in the power of advocacy and support to create positive change in people's lives.
During my internship at Sowa Town Council, I conducted assessments for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and facilitated sessions for students to address personal and behavioral issues. My role at Tutume Primary Hospital further honed my skills in case management, where I managed a caseload of clients, conducted counseling sessions, and maintained detailed case records. I am proud to have been recognized as a mentee in the Women Achievers Awards and to have volunteered at significant events like the Leaders Confluence Summit.
