I’m looking for Staff/Founding/Backend Architect or Product Infrastructure Lead roles (remote preferred) where I can own real-time backend and data infrastructure, make the right architectural tradeoffs, and lead teams with strong engineering standards.

I’m a backend engineer with 13+ years across the backend stack, focused on Data Pipelines & Warehousing, Database Performance & Scale, and cross-source data engineering. I’ve built real-time pipelines and a queryable data layer that helped serve segmentation, live personalisation, and recommendation engines for 100+ e-commerce clients.

At ConvertCart, I led the data platform engineering—owning warehouse design, end-to-end ingestion architecture, and the microservices/platform plugins that reliably deliver customer data in real time. I redesigned a fragile sync into real-time pipelines and reduced sync lag from hours-to-days down to seconds-to-minutes, while engineering ClickHouse/MySQL/MongoDB joins and leading teams of up to 6 engineers through async-first architecture, reviews, and mentoring.
