At GE Vernova, I direct five Lead System Engineers responsible for Balance of Plant systems on Boiling Water Reactor programs, overseeing system design, integration, and delivery.
Previously, I led up to 12 engineers at GE Vernova designing the Gen IV Natrium breeder reactor enclosure system for TerraPower, managing schedules and delivery to Design Authority. I earned a patent for a novel nuclear reactor support structure and directed design changes that reduced manufacturing effort, complexity, cost, and weight.
My work has also included hypersonic research and testing at Calspan Systems – Advanced Solutions, test engineering and contractor programs at NAVSEA, and mechanical engineering at NASA Langley Research Center. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
