I’m looking for opportunities where I can apply my skills in cybersecurity education and secure software development in a dynamic environment—teaching, supporting IT and compliance, and growing through hands-on work in threat detection and risk mitigation.

I’m a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Coding Instructor, focused on teaching practical cybersecurity foundations through software development. I deliver comprehensive instruction in Python, JavaScript, Machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence with an emphasis on cybersecurity principles, techniques, and best practices.

I educate learners on real-world cybersecurity threats, including malware, phishing, and denial-of-service attacks, along with strategies for mitigating these risks. I also train students in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, and Pervasive SQL, including database security and management with practical applications.

In my work, I mentor students who go on to pursue successful careers in cybersecurity, contributing to the growth and diversification of the cybersecurity workforce with proficiency in Python and JavaScript. I’m hands-on and focused on clear guidance, strong teamwork, and measurable progress.

Beyond teaching, I completed an Industrial Attachment at Kenya Revenue Authority (ICT) in Nairobi, supporting IT maintenance, capturing resolution details into a knowledge base system, logging end-user queries, and assisting with compliance to the Data Protection Act, 2019. I also built practical learning through courses in network security (Cisco Networking Academy) and ethical hacking (penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation).
