I currently manage legal work for Nabil Bank Limited, providing legal opinions, defending cases before District, High and Supreme Courts, and handling Debt Recovery Tribunal and appellate matters.
Previously, I led Corporate Legal Affairs at Bank of Kathmandu and headed Legal, Compliance and Loan Recovery at Janata Bank Nepal. My work has covered loan recovery from initial action through court and DRT proceedings, legal audits, regulatory correspondence, KYC, AML/CFT, NRB directives, and banking policy compliance.
I have also served as Legal Advisor to First Micro Finance Limited and taught Banking Law as a contract Assistant Professor at Kathmandu University School of Law.
Across Global Bank, International Development Bank, Nepal Development Bank, and Nepal Co-Operative Society, I have delivered legal opinions, company secretariat support, board documentation, collateral and mortgage work, and recovery activities. I hold an LL.M. in Business & International Trade Law and an Advocate License from the Nepal Bar Council.
