At LG Innotek, I identified sensor cracking mechanisms during qualification of a new image sensor for the iPhone 18/19 Pro and Pro Max Super Wide Camera Module. I drove design-for-reliability improvements to module structural design, epoxy patterns, and stiffener processes to improve sensor robustness under mechanical stress testing.
Previously, at LG Innotek, I investigated camera-module failures during NPI, including adhesive under-cure behind VCM/lens drift, and delivered fixture and process improvements that eliminated the drift and improved FATP/MP yield. My earlier work includes failure analysis for LED packaging at Seoul Semiconductor vina and research in semiconductor materials, optoelectronics, and nanomaterials.
