I’m a crisis advisor and community outreach professional with a strong background in supporting people through high-stress, emotionally charged situations. I bring composure, empathy, and non-judgmental communication to every interaction, especially when immediate safety and stability are at stake.
In my current role with the Hertfordshire domestic abuse helpline, I provide immediate, confidential crisis intervention by assessing safety risks, offering emotional validation, and collaboratively developing personalised safety plans. I document sensitive case details accurately to ensure compliance with data protection policies, while coordinating handover and follow-up support with relevant external agencies and emergency services.
I also build connection and reduce isolation through community work—most notably by creating and leading “Uplift,” a Milton Keynes initiative designed to foster conversation and combat loneliness. Previously, I supported high-risk vulnerable customers in Extra Care and High Risk Vulnerable Teams with tailored solutions, problem-solving, and holistic support that extends beyond immediate service needs, drawing on my counselling training and experience as a dental nurse and lead receptionist.
