What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to support individuals in their mental health journey, fostering a collaborative and empathetic environment.

I am a compassionate and energetic counsellor with extensive experience in providing advice, support, and rehabilitation to clients who have faced trauma or hardship. My journey in mental health began with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, and I have since dedicated my career to helping individuals develop the skills necessary to improve their well-being. I am passionate about creating safe spaces for clients to explore their feelings and challenges.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles, including as an Online Counsellor for Optum, where I conducted harm assessments and provided crisis intervention. My key achievements include empowering clients to find a better balance between their work and personal lives, leading to increased job satisfaction. I have also collaborated with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care, demonstrating my commitment to holistic support.

In addition to my counselling experience, I have a strong background in client advocacy and support, having worked with vulnerable populations in various settings. I believe in the power of empathy and active listening, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard and valued. I am eager to continue my journey in a permanent role that allows me to utilize my skills and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
