What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead or transform an internal audit function where I can deliver risk-based assurance, strengthen governance, develop teams, and apply data analytics and responsible AI to improve audit coverage and insight.

I'm delivering PayPoint Group's internal audit plan across payments, retail services, and parking, covering financial, operational, IT, and FCA regulatory risks. I lead risk-based audits, investigations, audit-universe refreshes, and responsible AI-assisted audit techniques.

Previously, I built Betway Group / SGHC's Internal Audit function from the ground up, scaling it to 13 auditors and establishing a global audit charter and methodology. I directed risk-based assurance across multiple jurisdictions, introduced analytics and continuous monitoring, rolled out enterprise risk management, and reported actionable risk insight directly to the CEO, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board.

Across payments, online gaming, healthcare, insurance, and the public sector, I've built audit functions, led SOX and ITGC work, investigated fraud, and strengthened controls using ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, AML, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python.
