What I'm looking for

I seek hands‑on roles in systems/application support or SRE/DevOps within collaborative teams, focusing on Linux operations, cloud adoption, automation, and career growth.

I am an Associate Engineer in Application and System Support with hands‑on experience maintaining Linux‑based SWIFT applications, performing system health checks, patching, backups, user access management and L1/L2 support for financial institutions. I have contributed to projects such as Linux SOAP client configuration, ISO 20022 (MX) message processing and customer onboarding for regional banks and central institutions.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology with specialization in Computer Systems & Network Engineering and have delivered research on Sinhala Sign Language recognition (published at ICAC2023). I am pursuing AWS Solutions Architect Associate and RHCSA certifications, and I bring practical skills in server administration, troubleshooting, monitoring and automation to drive reliable, compliant operations.
