Lecturer and researcher in journalism and communication since 2006, teaching communication research methods, supervising research and delivering trainings in media and data visualization.

Served as social development and safeguards short-term consultant advising on safeguards, stakeholder engagement and capacity building across World Bank-funded projects from 2014 to 2022.

Conducted environmental and social assessments and developed RAP, EIES and PGES for the National Road N1 rehabilitation project in DRC (Feb–Jun 2019).

Developed an Environmental and Social Management Framework, Resettlement Policy Framework and Environmental Audit for a World Bank-funded Trade Facilitation Project (Feb–Mar 2015).

Conducted sanitation and hygiene assessment in volcanic districts for SNV's WASH project, delivering field data, analysis and actionable recommendations (Oct–Nov 2014).

Carried out social impact assessment, developed RPF and Process Framework for the LAFREC forest restoration and conservation project (Mar–Apr 2014).

Delivered part-time lectures in communication research methods and environmental reporting, developing course materials and assessing students from 2007 to 2012.

Taught education and social science research courses as a part-time lecturer and conducted applied research between 2005 and 2007.

Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Studies awarded by Moi University in 2019.

Master of Science in Social and Educational Research Methods completed at Kigali Institute of Education in 2009 (DelPHE collaboration).

Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Journalism and Communication from Makerere University, completed in 2005.

Licence (Bachelor's degree with honours) in Education (English-French) from the National University of Rwanda, awarded in 2003.
