Taylor Aucoin
@tayloraucoin
I’m a senior full-stack engineer and founding engineer building AI-powered products from idea to production.
What I'm looking for
I’m Taylor— a technologist at the intersection of systems thinking and creative intuition. I’m obsessed with how a product feels as much as how it’s architected, and I move fluidly from scoping and ideation to system design, development, and the marketing/user experience that makes it land.
I’ve developed a CTO-level instinct for translating business goals into precise technical decisions, refined across nearly a decade of founding-engineer environments. I bring over nine years of experience building full-stack applications, taking products from 0 to production nine times across consumer marketplaces, AI-powered creative platforms, healthtech, e-commerce infrastructure, education & learning platforms, and data-driven discovery systems.
Most recently, I was the Founding Engineer at Everbook, building an AI-assisted storytelling platform from the ground up, including a real-time AI voice interview system, print-ready book generation, and a full e-commerce marketing site. I’m also the Technical Founder of Agora, where I’ve rebuilt the platform three times and now run a proprietary ML recommendation engine, an Etsy API integration processing tens of thousands of AI-enriched products, and a multi-modal discovery experience—thriving when small teams build ambitious things with care, precision, and heart.

Built core systems including an OpenAI Whisper + Realtime speech-to-speech interview experience, a Puppeteer-based print-ready book generation engine, and multi-stage checkout flows.
First engineer hired to build the Everbook platform — an AI-assisted storytelling product that helps families capture and print their life stories through interactive interviews and custom-designed books. Everbook, founded by the creator of Looka and VentureKit, sought to expand AI’s role in memoir creation through narrative intelligence, voice interviews, and automated book design.
