I build backend systems for high-throughput event ingestion at CleverTap, focusing on reliability and scaling optimizations. I’ve worked on MongoDB write-batching, database thread throttling, and schema validation to handle peak traffic surges.
I also implemented an asynchronous backup and replay pipeline for distributed ingestion, processing over 8 TB of production data daily. To keep the hot path fast, I designed a non-blocking architecture with in-memory queues, background workers, batching, and compression.
For data durability and cost, I engineered a compressed AWS S3 archival pipeline and a time-range replay engine, cutting storage costs by 64%. I added Splunk monitoring to track queue health, throughput, and S3 API metrics, validating zero dropped backup records.
Earlier, at SAMBUQ.com, I was a core developer for an internal low-code platform that generated Flutter web/mobile apps and Node.js REST APIs from JSON stored in MongoDB.
