What I'm looking for

I'm looking to contribute ethnographic research, fieldwork, and community engagement skills to projects focused on communities, culture, health, marginalization, tourism, or Himalayan border areas.

I've conducted ethnographic fieldwork with communities across India, including Himalayan border villages in Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, as well as Khasi, Garo, Sapera, Golar, and urban homeless communities. My research examines mobility, tourism, marginalization, health, livelihoods, and socio-cultural practices.

As a Junior Research Fellow and Project Fellow with the Anthropological Survey of India, I contributed to national and regional projects on denotified, nomadic, semi-nomadic, and Himalayan border communities. I bring research design, participant observation, interviewing, data interpretation, documentation, and presentation skills, alongside experience sharing research through seminars and visual essays.

I conduct ethnographic fieldwork on AnSI Plan Projects, using participant observation, interviews, and surveys to collect and analyse data. I prepare fieldwork plans, curate datasets, and draft reports, tables, and figures under senior supervision. I also support literature reviews, project documentation, and additional research or administrative tasks assigned by the R&D Directorate.
