What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a challenging role in the retail and wholesale sector where I can use my extensive translation, proofreading, editing, transcription, writing, and sculpture experience.

I've delivered English-to-Japanese translation, proofreading, and editing work for 14 years, alongside four years translating from French into Japanese.

As a freelance contractor, I've contributed to translation, proofreading, and transcription projects, including two years of YouTube video transcription. I've also worked as a writer for a Japanese magazine.

Before focusing on language work, I spent 12 years as a sculpture artist supporting work for Disney, Universal Studios, and other clients. My studio experience includes Art studio Kuri and Art studio Akiyama in Japan.

I've studied languages in Bordeaux and Edinburgh and work confidently with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Mac systems.
