Soil biogeochemist at Landscape Research Institute (VÚK vvi) and Masaryk University, studying carbon sequestration in rewilded European landscapes.
What I'm looking for
At Landscape Research Institute (VÚK vvi) and Masaryk University, I’m the WP3 soil scientist on the EU Horizon WILDCARD project, studying soil organic carbon dynamics and belowground biodiversity in rewilded European forests and farmland. I use soil fractionation, stable isotope analysis, and radiocarbon age-depth modeling to examine carbon sequestration under land-use change.
In 2026, I authored first-author publications in Catena and European Journal of Soil Science on tree-throw carbon dynamics and soil carbon sequestration following natural vegetation recovery in abandoned European lands.
I use Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok in my research for data interpretation, code generation, literature synthesis, and manuscript preparation. I also design domain-specific prompts and assess AI outputs for errors in earth-science reasoning.
My research has covered soil carbon and nitrogen, stable isotopes, and soil formation across forest, grassland, and rewilding settings. As a Tenured Assistant Professor at Azad University Sanandaj, I taught soil science, environmental geochemistry, and GIS/remote sensing, and supervised Ph.D. and M.Sc. students.
