What I'm looking for

I’m looking to join a research and development team where I can apply hands-on materials characterization and process development—especially across batteries, laser surface engineering, and aerospace materials—to deliver dependable results.

I’m a Materials/Metallurgical Engineer with an MS in Materials Engineering (Metals and Nanomaterials) and over four years of applied R&D spanning lithium-ion battery manufacturing, laser surface engineering, and aerospace alloy characterization. I currently work as a Material Engineer at the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad, where I support hands-on R&D in solid-propellant formulations and also apply solid rocket motor igniter design principles, including ignition theory and initiator formulation frameworks.

Previously, as a Research Associate at the US–Pakistan Center for Advanced Energy Systems (NUST), I worked across the lithium-ion cell production workflow—electrode material preparation, slurry formulation, coating, cell assembly, and formation/cycling—while applying characterization methods like XRD, microscopy, and mechanical testing to strengthen material selection and process quality. I combine research credibility (peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, including a Best Poster Award) with practical QA/QC and documentation discipline, and I’m seeking to bring this materials science and process-development background to a research and development team.
