Swastik Dutta

I’m currently pursuing my 4rth year B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Science at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Bhubaneswar. I’m passionate about embedded systems and VLSI chip design, and I explore Arduino while staying curious about AI and real-world problem solving.

During my 3-month Winter Internship at IIT Bhubaneswar & Ranvox Technology Pvt. Ltd., I worked on UAV and autonomous drone technologies. I contributed through flight controller programming, Ground Control Station UI development, real-time telemetry integration, and machine learning-based spatial awareness systems for surveillance and precision agriculture applications.

In my 2-month Summer Internship at IIT Hyderabad & WiSig Networks, I implemented mathematical algorithms such as Newton–Raphson and Fixed-Point architectures in Verilog HDL. I validated results using MATLAB simulations and supported digital system optimization, verification, and problem-solving for hardware-oriented applications.

My projects reflect the same blend of hardware and intelligence: an ESP32-based IoT irrigation system with Wi-Fi monitoring, RGB feedback, and auto/manual control; an ESP32-CAM smart lock with facial recognition, MQTT, server-side authentication, and LCD notifications; and a deep learning MRI diagnostics web application using fine-tuned ResNet-50 models with real-time predictions and explainable AI visualization (Python, PyTorch, FastAPI, React, OpenCV, Docker). I also earned a HackerRank Python (Basic) certification and won Fresh Face and Fresh Voice at KIIT Fest 2026, with a First runner up finish at Pitch Perfect.
