What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build practical AI and software systems for global health, humanitarian response, financial inclusion, and other low-resource settings, especially where offline-first architecture and explainable decision-making matter.

I co-developed AkibaAI, an offline-first credit risk scoring prototype for African SACCOs that transforms consented mobile-money data into explainable risk signals. I engineered 32 behavioral features and an XGBoost model that achieved a cross-validated AUC of 0.989, with SHAP-based bilingual explanations delivered through Streamlit.

I've also built emergency dispatch, NLP triage, demand forecasting, and geospatial routing systems, and delivered responsive web applications at Oxygene Marketing & Communications. Alongside engineering, I tutor computer science students and translate complex technical systems into clear documentation.
