What I'm looking for

I am seeking roles that combine translational biomedical research, team leadership, and business development where I can advance therapies and mentor scientists.

I am an engineer, cell biologist, and immunologist with doctoral and postdoctoral training from leading institutions including the Universities of Sheffield, Manchester, Cambridge and Stanford. My work focuses on how vascular flow and the microenvironment regulate cellular function, with a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and an aggregate impact factor over 100.

During my postdoctoral work I developed a pharmaceutical strategy for chronic pulmonary vascular remodeling that resulted in a patent and successful acquisition by Denovo Pharma in 2019. I have secured project funding, led grant applications, and published multiple research articles while supervising junior scientists.

Beyond the lab, I have led and scaled biotech ventures as CEO (Senara GmbH, Bioneer UG), raising funding and forming strategic partnerships, while bridging life science, engineering and business. I have editorial experience as a scientific editor and peer reviewer, and I design and deliver lectures and online courses to mentor the next generation of researchers.

I bring operational leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on technical expertise (molecular and cellular techniques, RNAseq, pharmacology) to roles that translate discovery into products and impact. I seek opportunities that combine scientific innovation, team leadership, and business development in translational biomedical settings.
