At Blind Squirrel Games, I built networked destruction systems for State of Decay 3, enabling windows, fences, and other objects to break through player and enemy interactions. I also worked on graphics and world technology, evaluating performance and building tools for artists.
For Blind Squirrel Games prototypes, I stood up single-player and multiplayer projects in UE5 using the Lyra framework. I prototyped turn-based actions, ability systems, and AI behaviors, and fine-tuned player movement.
I supported shipped games including Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Sonic Colors: Ultimate. My work included migrating code from UE3 to UE4, building an achievement system, and profiling memory and performance issues.
Earlier, I worked on game ports and engineering support at Digital Smash and OR1GO LLC., and on MMORPGs at Gravity Interactive, Inc. I’ve been drawn to games since childhood, and making them has remained the driving force in my education and career.
