Dedicated educator with a passion for student development and support.
What I'm looking for
As a passionate educator with over seven years of experience, I have dedicated my career to fostering a positive learning environment for students in elementary education. Currently, I teach at Wake County Public Schools, where I have honed my skills in data analysis, assessment creation, and intervention planning. My role as a grade chair and SIP representative has allowed me to collaborate with colleagues to enhance our curriculum and support our students' diverse needs.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as an Employment Support Professional, assisting individuals with mental health disabilities in securing employment. This role has deepened my understanding of the importance of community connections and the impact of tailored support on individual success. My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as I have actively engaged in outreach initiatives and volunteer coordination through my work with Americorps VISTA.
