What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that values collaboration and supports professional growth while allowing me to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

I am a dedicated educator currently pursuing a dual degree in General and Special Education. My teaching philosophy centers around equipping students with the necessary strategies to foster independence and critical thinking. I have experience working with diverse student populations, and I am committed to creating inclusive learning environments that support social-emotional learning.

In my role as a 3rd-grade teacher with the Department of Education, I have implemented curriculum strategies that emphasize student-led discussions and critical engagement. Previously, as a 5th-grade teacher in Onslow County Schools, I developed individualized lesson plans and identified at-risk students to ensure their academic growth. My background includes various teaching roles, including substitute teaching and mentoring, which have further honed my instructional skills.
