What I'm looking for

I'm looking for on-site work in Brussels where I can lead reliable PostgreSQL/EDB production operations, improve performance and recovery practices, and partner closely with application and infrastructure teams.

I'm leading DBA operations for Lynx S.p.A.'s banking PostgreSQL/EDB estate, where I optimise critical analytical workloads, tune cloud-native infrastructure, and support development teams with query design and data modelling.

I've recovered production services after a widespread split-brain event, restoring databases from backup, reconciling affected data, and producing post-incident analysis that improved failover procedures. I manage streaming and logical replication, upgrades, failover verification, capacity, access controls, runbooks, and incident escalation.

Before Lynx, I spent nearly 18 years at Firenze Smart supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and Oracle services used by more than 400,000 citizens. My background also includes full-stack PHP and Ext JS development, Linux administration, database software development, training, monitoring, and business-facing technical coordination.
