What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue supporting survivors and vulnerable clients through trauma-informed advocacy, safety planning, crisis intervention, and connection to essential community resources.

At Family Shelter Services of Metropolitan Family Services, I support domestic violence survivors through court processes, safety planning, orders of protection, crisis intervention, and referrals to housing, counseling, legal aid, and financial assistance. I also present countywide outreach that educates law enforcement agencies about domestic violence and trauma-informed care.

I've also provided overnight domestic violence advocacy at Wings Program and led overnight support-center operations at Transitions Care Hospice. My background includes hospice, palliative, home health, client de-escalation, confidential case records, and more than 15 years of skilled nursing care as a CNA.
