What I'm looking for
My name is Sotirios Tsouptsis, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology at KU Leuven, where I specialize in Quantum Engineering and Materials Technology. My ongoing thesis focuses on unlocking nanoscale dopant secrets by atom probe tomography for next-generation semiconductors, a project that I am conducting within the MCA team under the supervision of Dr. Richard Morris and Jhao-Rong Lin.
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a solid foundation in solid-state physics and materials science, achieving a GPA of 68.68/100 in my master's program. My undergraduate thesis, which received a perfect score, analyzed the interactions between magnetic moments in two-dimensional and three-dimensional electron gases. Additionally, I have practical experience as an Electrical and AV Installation Assistant, where I worked across various EU buildings, and as a Physics and Math Teacher, where I prepared and executed lesson plans for high school students.
