At Capitec Bank, I execute manual and automated test plans, validate end-to-end business processes, and provide go/no-go release input across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.
I'm currently building a Playwright automation framework for Life Insurance Claims from scratch, integrating API testing and GitHub Actions for continuous integration. I also create test plans, test cases, bug reports, and perform SQL data validation.
Previously at Old Mutual, I designed and executed more than 150 manual test cases across web and API insurance systems. I automated smoke and regression suites with Playwright and TypeScript, reducing manual testing time by 40% and decreasing post-deployment bugs by 25% across four releases.
I also bring technical support and Unity development experience, including supporting more than 100 municipal staff and developing an AR learning prototype for medical biosciences students. I enjoy improving software reliability through thoughtful testing, collaboration, and continuous learning.
