What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-friendly role focused on technical support and API debugging—where I can own incident resolution, communicate root cause clearly, and deepen my work with e-commerce integrations while contributing to reliable, SLA-driven operations.

I’m an IT Support Specialist and BSc Information Technology graduate who delivers first- and second-level technical support with a strong incident-management mindset. I currently support 1,500+ end-users in a high-accountability environment, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues within SLAs.

I’m especially strong in API testing and debugging—using Postman to validate REST API behavior (GET/POST, headers, Bearer tokens, JSON payloads, and HTTP status codes) and diagnose failed calls with clear root cause explanations. I also have hands-on exposure to shipping and customs API integrations and working knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, including webhook-based flows and Admin API concepts.

I combine log analysis and SQL diagnostic query skills (SELECT/WHERE/ORDER BY/GROUP BY/JOIN/COUNT/SUM) to investigate what’s broken and why. I communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and I’m fully remote-capable with reliable infrastructure and East Africa Time availability.
