What I'm looking for
I’m a Direct Support Professional supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings. I manage caseloads, maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation, and use behavior management to improve daily living and social abilities.
Since 2024, I’ve successfully managed a caseload of eight or more clients while keeping compliance with memos to charts, scheduling, and documentation deadlines. I document progress, goal achievements, behaviors, and care updates in electronic health systems, and I monitor clients’ well-being with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
I also assist with resource navigation for clients and provide direct care that fosters activities of daily living. I support social skills development and community integration, helping create positive interactions through implemented behavior management techniques.
Before this role, I built strong service and reliability skills in housekeeping and customer service—cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms while following safety protocols, and handling customer inquiries, deliveries, and inventory coordination. I bring that same attention to detail, communication, and teamwork into every client interaction.
