At KOMATSU MINING CORP. – PUNE DESIGN CENTER, I work on mechanical design for Load-Haul-Dump mining equipment, including chassis, structural weldments, package-level components, and auxiliary systems. My work has included a chassis load distribution improvement of 15%.
I develop 3D models, large assemblies, engineering drawings, and BOMs, and perform FEM/FEA-based structural validation. I also manage engineering BOM and change activities using SAP and Windchill.
At BAJAJ STEEL INDUSTRIES LIMITED, I designed centrifugal blower and vane axial fan assemblies and supported rotating-equipment packages. Design work there contributed to a 12% material cost reduction and a 15% fabrication time reduction.
Earlier, at GLOBE METAL INDUSTRY, I designed stainless-steel piping systems, structural fabrications, and welded assemblies. I hold a BE in Mechanical Engineering and certifications including CSWA and CSWA-AM.
