What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can own critical modules end-to-end, improve performance and reliability with async/data systems, and mentor teammates while continuing stack modernization and engineering excellence.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer who takes full ownership of backend modules and turns design decisions into production outcomes. I’ve led scalable, multi-tenant reporting and metrics services and focused on reducing operational pain like event lag and performance bottlenecks.

At MakeMyTrip (acquired Happay), I unblocked juniors, drove sprint execution from PRD to UAT to PROD, and took complete ownership of AllocationEngine and ActivityLogEngine. I also contributed to TransactionEngine, ReportEngine, PolicyEngine, and WorkFlowEngine while conducting modernization research from Python 2 to Python 3.

On the core Expense Backend team at Happay, I designed and implemented key features like Itemization and robust allocation workflows, plus user login activity logging at ~772K requests/day using MongoDB and AWS SQS for reliable async processing. I’ve also optimized Django ORM query performance and built a VS Code extension to streamline AWS Lambda orchestration and testing.
