What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own enterprise network security and operations end-to-end—NSX/next-gen firewall management, ITIL-based change and incident handling, and capacity-focused improvements—inside an audit-driven, 24×7 environment with strong engineering support.

I’m a Network Engineer with 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure in 24×7 environments. My focus is building reliable, audit-ready network security and operations, with strong expertise in VMware NSX Distributed Firewall and Next-Generation Firewalls.

At TCS (Pune), I design and manage VMware NSX Distributed Firewall (DFW) policies, administer Next-Generation Firewalls (rule creation, NAT, object management, security hardening), and handle L2/L3 network operations on Cisco Nexus switches (VLAN, VPC, trunking, STP). I lead production incident troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime, and I execute firewall migrations, upgrades, and change implementations following ITIL standards.

Before that, I worked as a Network IT Analyst and then a Network Capacity Engineer at A.P. Moller Maersk, where I owned capacity planning, forecasting, major incident management, root cause analysis, and operational dashboards. Earlier, as a Network Associate Engineer at Tata Communication, I handled MPLS and DMVPN troubleshooting, monitored circuit stability, and coordinated with cross-functional teams to resolve customer-impacting issues with less downtime.
