At IWST, I managed scientific projects in wood protection, including research into coconut shell pyrolytic oil as a natural wood preservative. That work resulted in a granted patent for a natural wood preservative formulation.
I also managed research on biologically synthesised copper and zinc oxide nanoparticles for wood protection, and contributed to an international joint field trial on wood moisture performance. My work spans research grant administration, project execution, and scientific reporting.
My scientific background includes biochemical studies, pre-clinical and clinical research, and wood-protection research. I’ve published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at national and international conferences.
