At PG Department of Biotechnology, Karnatak University, Dharwad, I conducted doctoral research on phytochemical screening, green nanoparticle synthesis, and pharmacological evaluation of plant-derived compounds.
I also researched food packaging and biopolymer films combined with phytochemicals for biomedical applications. I designed and carried out antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory assays.
My research projects examined antibacterial activity in Psidium guajava leaf extracts, phyto-conjugated PLA-based membranes derived from Mundulea sericea, and iron nanoparticles synthesized from Fernandoa adenophylla.
I contributed to a peer-reviewed publication and presented at eight national and international scientific conferences. I also delivered practical laboratory sessions for M.Sc. Biotechnology and Microbiology students.
