What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a lab and research team where I can advance biomedical work—especially cardiac bioprinting—while combining rigorous wet-lab methods with AI/LLM-driven learning to improve outcomes in regenerative medicine.

I’m a Graduate research student at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), where I focus on functional cardiac patch bioprinting. I cultivate and differentiate human iPS cells into cardiomyocytes, synthesize cardiac-specific bioink, and incorporate both into a 3D muscle model to build more functional cardiac tissue.

Previously, I worked in molecular and immunological research at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, conducting ELISA, ELISpot, and flow cytometry, along with genomic DNA preparation for genotyping and expression studies using Northern analysis, Western blotting, and quantitative PCR. Earlier experience includes producing high-brightness nanoparticle-based dyes for flow cytometry detection, performing in-situ hybridization and fluorescent microscopy in HeLa cells, and supporting dye/material characterization, purification, and antibody conjugation. I also strengthen others through teaching and tutoring in Principles of Biology, emphasizing lab safety, study strategy, and interactive learning.
