Shantanu Borde

As someone who thrives at the intersection of structure and curiosity, I’ve spent the last few years building products that solve complex real-world problems—often from the ground up. I am a product manager with an engineer’s analytical mind and an entrepreneur’s adaptability.

My journey into product began as a founder. Starting my own company gave me an early taste of what it means to create something from scratch—assembling a team, pitching to investors, and shipping our first product. That experience shaped my bias toward action, clarity in execution, and empathy for cross-functional teams.

Since then, I’ve led product charters in high-growth startups across industries like supply chain tech, agritech, fintech, and AI. At Vegrow, I built a custom ERP to track ₹7 Cr+ of inventory across 35+ locations, dramatically improving accuracy and efficiency. At Hopstack, I overhauled order and billing systems, shipped high-impact modules like consumable and pricing analytics, and helped turn a previously unused feature into a revenue generator. Most recently, I led multiple strategic initiatives that improved internal alignment and reduced support overhead—because great products start with great processes.

I enjoy the thrill of zero-to-one challenges, the discipline of scaling, and the joy of solving for the user. I’m comfortable rolling up my sleeves for a Figma wireframe, debugging Jira workflows, or interpreting usage metrics to steer prioritization. My core strength lies in balancing user needs, business outcomes, and engineering realities.

Outside of work, I’m a trained Tabla player with over a decade of practice, a former state-level cricketer, and an MMA fan who could talk about fights for hours.

Above all, I see product not just as a job—but as a way to constantly learn, collaborate, and bring meaningful ideas to life.
