At UNICEF Global Programme Division, I support the UNITED! Movement collaboration with Y+ Global, facilitating adolescent and young people’s leadership in SRHR and HIV advocacy. I’ve coordinated regional advocacy platforms, including work connected to the ESA Ministerial Commitment and Education Plus.
I supported research with partners including the Universities of Oxford and Cape Town. I co-authored a commentary on youth-led engagement and school return policies, and was first author of From policy to practice: Examining school re-entry policies for pregnant and parenting adolescent girls in the Eastern and Southern African region.
At UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office, I supported collaboration among youth-led organizations across 14 countries and contributed to SRHR and HIV social behaviour change activities. I also supported capacity-building resources, including the Radio 4000 podcast and the SBC HIV and SRHR Toolkit for Young People.
Earlier, I supported SGBV prevention and survivor referrals at the Centre for Domestic Training and Development, including managing a 24-hour hotline. My academic work includes a Master of Arts thesis assessing gender-based violence policy implementation in Kenya.
